Madan Bhupal Reddy is the brother of BC Janardhan Reddy, the Roads and Buildings Minister of Andhra Pradesh. On August 1, 2025, during the inauguration of the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Kolimigundla, Nandyal district, BC Madan Bhupal Reddy was filmed slapping an on-duty police constable, Jaswanth Kumar, after being denied entry into a restricted area.
