Md Zama Khan, born in 1973, is a politician and agriculturist who took oath as a Bihar minister in Nitish Kumar’s cabinet on November 20. Representing the Chainpur Assembly constituency, he is the only Muslim leader among the 26 ministers sworn-in. He is expected to serve as the state’s Minister of Minority Affairs. He belongs to Janata Dal (United).
