OpenAI named CTO Mira Murati as interim CEO after firing Sam Altman. Murati, who has a degree in mechanical engineering from Dartmouth College, previously worked as an intern at Goldman Sachs and then at Zodiac Aerospace. Murati, who worked with Tesla as a senior product manager of Model X, also served as VP of product and engineering at Leap Motion.
