Motaleb Shikder was shot by unidentified gunmen during protests in Bangladesh, days after the death of anti-India radical leader Sharif Osman Hadi. Shikder is a leader of the National Citizen Party (NCP) and is its Khulna divisional chief, HT reported. Notably, the NCP was formed after ex-PM Sheikh Hasina's removal. It's said to be Bangladesh’s first student-led political party.
