'Ramayana' producer Namit Malhotra is the son of producer Naresh Malhotra and grandson of cinematographer MN Malhotra. He began his first company, Video Workshop, in the 1990s and merged it with his father's firm to create Prime Focus. In 2014, Prime Focus merged with a VFX studio, Double Negative, to create DNEG, which has won eight Oscars in 10 years.
