Narottam Mishra is the former Home Minister of MP who was denied Datia by-poll ticket by BJP, sparking protests. He was de facto number 2 when Shivraj Singh Chouhan was the CM. Mishra started his journey with BJP's youth wing and first contested Assembly polls in 1990. He won from Datia in 2008, 2013 and 2018 but lost in 2023.
