India's 18-year-old Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa stunned world No.3 Fabiano Caruana in the semifinals to reach the FIDE World Cup chess tournament finals against Magnus Carlsen. Chennai-born Praggnanandhaa, the son of a banker and a homemaker, started playing chess aged 5. He became Grandmaster at the age of 12 years, 10 months, and 13 days, the fifth-youngest to achieve the feat.
