Raahul VS, who has become India's 91st chess Grandmaster, hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. A part-time coach and MBA aspirant at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, he has recently been working with Chess Thulir under coach Shyamsundar. "He's very good at tactical chess. He's good at tactics. He is good at calculation also," Shyamsundar said about the 21-year-old.
