Rahul Bhatia co-founded IndiGo alongside Rakesh Gangwal, a US citizen and industry veteran, Firspost reported. He's currently serving as Group MD of InterGlobe Aviation. Delhi-based Bhatia and Gangwal had a public fallout in 2019, leading Gangwal to step down from IndiGo’s board. Bhatia holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from a Canadian university. His net worth is around $8.1 billion.
