Rakesh Gangwal, born on July 25, 1952, is an Indian-American billionaire and co-founder of IndiGo Airlines. He served as CEO and chairman of US Airways Group and held top roles at Worldspan Technologies. Gangwal has a Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
