Food and beverage giant PepsiCo has named Ramon Laguarta to succeed Indra Nooyi as CEO, when she steps down on October 3. A 22-year PepsiCo veteran, Laguarta was promoted to President last year, overseeing global operations, corporate strategy, public policy and government affairs. A Barcelona native, he worked at Spanish lollipop maker Chupa Chups before joining PepsiCo.
