Twenty-one-year-old Shraddha Shashidhar, who won the title of Miss Diva 2017, will be representing India at Miss Universe 2017. Born in Chennai, Shraddha has a degree in mass media from Sophia College for Women, Mumbai, and is a national-level basketball player. India has won the Miss Universe title only twice, with Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000.
