Sachin Dhas, who scored 96 for India in Under-19 World Cup 2024 semi-final against South Africa, was born on February 3, 2005 in Maharashtra's Beed. His father Sanjay, a Maharashtra government employee, named him after his second-favourite cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Dhas has been playing cricket since he was 4.5 years old. He captained Maharashtra in U-14, U-16 and U-19 levels.
