Satadru Dutta, the key organiser of Argentine football legend Lionel Messi’s India tour, was arrested following chaos at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium. A native of Rishra in West Bengal’s Hooghly district, he began his career in finance and investment before entering sports promotion. Through 'A Satadru Dutta Initiative', the MBA graduate has organised visits by several football legends to India.
