Savitri Jindal, richest woman in India, was inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party on March 28. Earlier a Congress member, the Jindal Group matriarch joined the saffron party in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Hisar. On March 27, the 74-year-old posted on X, "I am resigning from the primary membership of the Congress Party today."
