Supriya Shrinate is Congress' social media head who made objectionable remarks against actress Kangana Ranaut after BJP fielded her from Mandi seat. A post on Shrinate's Instagram handle read, "'Kya bhav chal raha hai Mandi main koi batayega' (can someone tell what is the rate in Mandi)." Shrinate is a former journalist. She unsuccessfully contested from UP's Maharajganj in 2019.
