IIT Kanpur graduate and OpenAI o1's Indian-origin co-creator Trapit Bansal announced he'll be joining Meta's Superintelligence Labs. Bansal has been OpenAI's technical staff member since January 2022 and had earlier interned at Microsoft from June-August 2020 and at Google from May-August 2018. He has also worked as Research Assistant at Indian Institute of Science and as Analyst at Accenture.
