IPS Tripti Bhatt rejected sixteen government jobs before cracking UPSC CSE. A handwritten letter from the former president APJ Abdul Kalam got her inspired to serve the nation. Post her engineering degree, she began her career as an Assistant Manager at the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). She also turned down an offer from Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
