Tesla's 47-year-old CFO Vaibhav Taneja is the highest-paid CFO after receiving a pay package of $139.5 million (₹1,195 crore) last year, WSJ reported. Before being promoted to Tesla's CFO role in August 2023, Taneja served in various roles at Tesla and SolarCity, and worked for 16 years at PwC. A BCom graduate from Delhi University, he's a Certified Public Accountant.
