Vidushi Deeksha V, a Bharatanatyam dancer from Karnataka's Udupi, entered Golden Book of World Records after performing continuously for 216 hours across 9 days in August 2025. The marathon performance, held at a college in Udupi, surpassed the previous 170-hour record. Coming from financially struggling family, Deeksha began learning Bharatanatyam as a child with strong support from her parents.
