Indian-American Vijaya Gadde, who is Legal, Policy and Trust & Safety Lead at Twitter, spearheaded the decision to permanently suspend US President Donald Trump's account after the riots at US Capitol. Gadde moved to US as a child and grew up in Texas. A graduate of Cornell University and New York University Law School, the 45-year-old joined Twitter in 2011.
