Yohan Poonawalla recently bought a mansion for over ₹500 crore in Mumbai's Cuffe Parade. He is the son of Zavaray Poonawalla, President of the Poonawalla Group. Yohan's father is also the co-founder of the Serum Institute of India. Yohan is the cousin of Adar Poonawalla while Cyrus Poonawalla is his uncle.
