DMRC will build a new Aerocity-Tughlakabad Golden Metro line for an easier commute between Delhi airport and south and southeast Delhi. Grant Thornton Bharat's Partner Chetan Chichra said the metro won't create new housing demand in south Delhi but instead remove "connectivity discount". The metro may push property prices higher in areas like Chhatarpur, Neb Sarai, Saket and Ambedkar Nagar.
