Who owns the Moon?

US President Donald Trump recently claimed that the Moon is now a territory of the US. However, under UN's 1967 Outer Space Treaty, no nation can own the Moon, as it belongs to everyone, and any exploration done there has to be for humankind's benefit. This comes as multiple countries and companies are racing to establish Moon bases.
