Who receives GPF money after govt employee’s death?

The central government employees covered by the General Provident Fund (GPF) scheme can nominate a person to receive their balance in the event of their death. In the absence of a valid nomination, the balance is distributed equally among the eligible family members. If a nominee is not family, eligible family members get priority under the applicable rules.
