WHO has recommended two new COVID-19 medicines to treat severe and critical patients as hospitalisations rise across the world. "The strong recommendation for Baricitinib in those with severe or critical illness reflects moderate certainty evidence for benefits on mortality...," WHO said. It recommended Sotrovimab for people with non-serious COVID-19 who are at high risk of hospitalisation.
