Who's Adam Hamilton, pastor who ended Democrats' 94-yr losing streak in Kansas?

Methodist pastor Adam Hamilton defeated incumbent Republican Senator Roger Marshall, becoming first Democrat to win a Kansas Senate seat since 1932. The 62-year-old leads the largest United Methodist congregation in the US, United Methodist Church of the Resurrection. He calls himself an "independent-minded Democrat" and has argued Kansas would benefit from having one US senator from each party.
