Indian billionaire Harpal Randhawa, who was killed in a Zimbabwe plane crash along with his son, was the owner of RioZim, a diversified mining company producing gold, coal, refining nickel and copper. Randhawa had also founded $4-billion private equity firm GEM Holdings. He completed his education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and University of London.
