Who was Coffee Pudi Sakamma, Bengaluru’s coffee pioneer?

Doddamane Sakamma, popularly known as Coffee Pudi Sakamma, was a pioneering woman entrepreneur who helped shape Bengaluru’s coffee culture. After being widowed at 18, she managed coffee estates before moving to Bengaluru in 1920 and starting Sakamma’s Coffee Works.
