Legendary adman Piyush Pandey, known as 'Father of Indian Advertising', passed away at the age of 70. He had served as Ogilvy's Chief Creative Officer Worldwide and Executive Chairman India. Pandey was born in 1955 in Jaipur, and once played cricket for Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy. He was the brother of filmmaker Prasoon Pandey and singer Ila Arun.
