Sucheta Kriplani, born in 1908, was a freedom fighter, Gandhian, and a champion of justice and equality. A key figure in the Quit India Movement and the drafting of the Constitution, she made history in 1963 as India’s first woman Chief Minister in Uttar Pradesh. Her integrity, courage, and dedication to women’s rights continue to inspire generations.
