Madhavi Raje Scindia, who passed away on Wednesday, was the wife of former Union Minister Madhavrao Scindia and mother of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. She was known as 'Rajmata' of the Gwalior royal family. She chaired 24 trusts dedicated to various sectors like education and healthcare and served as the head of the board of governors of Scindias Kanya Vidyalaya.
