Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah, who was killed when he fell from an aerial iron cage on the stage during the company's 25th-anniversary event in Hyderabad, was originally from Mumbai. He got his MBA degree at the age of 21 in 1989 from Lehigh University's Business School. He worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, General Motors and SAP too. He also established Vistex Foundation.
