Who was VS Ramadevi, India's first woman Chief Election Commissioner?

VS Ramadevi was the 9th Chief Election Commissioner of India (26th November 1990 to 11th December 1990). She was the first woman Chief Election Commissioner of India. She was also the first woman to serve as Secretary General of the Rajya Sabha (1st July 1993 – 25th July 1997). She also served as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka.
