Tesla's Elon Musk was the highest paid CEO on the list of Fortune 500 companies in 2021, with a "realised" compensation worth $23.5 billion. He was followed by Apple CEO Tim Cook ($770.5 million), NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang ($561 million) and Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings ($453.5 million). Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella ranked seventh on the list with $309.4 million compensation.
