Wholesale price index (WPI) based inflation eased to 2.26% in February due to lower food and vegetable prices, government data showed. In January 2020, the wholesale inflation stood at 3.1% and 2.9% in February a year ago. The WPI inflation for food articles for February stood at 7.79% as compared to 11.51% in January.
