India-born Sanjal Gavande is a Systems Engineer part of the Blue Origin team that built New Shepard space vehicle that will fly world's richest man Jeff Bezos and other crew members to space. The 30-year-old completed her mechanical engineering at Mumbai University in 2011 before enrolling at Michigan Technological University for masters. She has previously worked for Toyota Racing Development.
