Commenting on violence during student protests against the NEET-UG paper leak, CJI Surya Kant said that whoever took law in their hands and whoever committed atrocities, they should be taken to task. The CJI also said that the protests were completely peaceful. He has suggested the formation of a SIT for an independent, fair and transparent probe over violence.
