Why ‘ring of fire’ solar eclipse won’t be visible in India?
short by Swati Dubey / on Wednesday, 2 October, 2024
The 'ring of fire' solar eclipse won't be visible in India because it occurs at night. This phenomenon happens when the Moon passes between Earth and Sun, but is too far to completely cover the Sun. The eclipse will start at 7:12 pm on October 2 and end at 3:17 am on October 3 outside the daylight hours in India.
