Spanish farmers have joined colleagues in other European countries protesting against high costs, low produce prices & green regulations. Farmers in France, Belgium, Italy, Portugal & Spain are complaining about the increasing weight of European bureaucracy. They say environmental rules imposed on EU farmers make them less competitive than peers in regions such as Latin America or non-EU Europe.
