As many as 2,837 India-born individuals left Sweden between January-June this year. High cost of living, loneliness and lack of close friends in Sweden are among the reasons behind this, as per Sweden-based software engineer Ankur Tyagi. He said spouses face problems in finding jobs in Sweden and many Indians get better financial opportunities in India and the US.
