Why are people keen to retire me? I have returned from jaws of death: Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 84 on Sunday, questioned why people are so keen to retire him. Responding to a journalist's question, Bachchan said, "Do you plan to stop writing in...future?" Referring to his near-fatal accident on 'Coolie' sets in 1982, Bachchan said he has returned from the "jaws of death", adding, "Someone somewhere has protected me all these years."
