The Nifty Pharmaceuticals Index has fallen 2.05% to 20,640.40 on Monday despite Sensex seeing a jump of 2,300 points. This comes after US President Donald Trump announced an executive order to slash prescription drug prices in the United States by 30-80%. Sun Pharma was the major loser in the sectoral index followed by Biocon, Lupin, Glenmark and others.
