Team India players are wearing black armbands in the first ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo. This is in memory of former India cricketer and head coach Anshuman Gaekwad, who passed away aged 71 on July 31 after battling blood cancer. Gaekwad represented India in 40 Test matches and 15 ODIs and scored 2,254 international runs.
