Why aren't you putting Umar Khalid on trial?: K'taka minister on 'nationalist' row

Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge reacted after the state Congress chief called Umar Khalid a "nationalist", asking, "Why aren't you [Centre] putting Umar Khalid on trial?" He added that Khalid is not a convict and that nobody is discussing the charges against him. Khalid was arrested in 2020 under the UAPA over his alleged role in the Delhi riots.
