Why can't Vaibhav Sooryavanshi play for India senior team yet?

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who won Player of the Tournament award for scoring 439 runs in Under-19 World Cup 2026, can't represent India senior team yet as he's 14. According to ICC's rules introduced in 2020, a player must be at least 15 years old to participate in international cricket. Vaibhav will turn 15 on March 27, 2026 and become eligible.
