Crude oil remains near, but below, $100 a barrel as Middle East shipments continue through alternative routes and producers elsewhere raise output. Lower Chinese imports and weaker fuel demand have also capped prices. However, lost Russian and Middle Eastern supplies, limited refining capacity and approaching winter demand are driving diesel prices higher, according to Reuters.
