The None of the Above option got 2,18,674 lakh votes in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on Tuesday, breaking the previous record made in Gopalganj in Bihar in 2019 when 51,660 voters chose NOTA. Congress had urged voters to press NOTA to teach the BJP "a lesson" after its candidate Akshay Kanti Bam joined the BJP at the last minute.
