Why did Delhi's Barapullah Phase III flyover face long traffic jams after inauguration?
Delhi's newly opened Barapullah Phase-III flyover witnessed traffic jams of 3-4 km for two days. An aerial survey by the Delhi Traffic Police identified bottlenecks where two three-lane traffic streams converge into one three-lane corridor. Additionally, a lane ends abruptly at nearly a 90° angle on the loop near Sundial Park. High traffic volumes worsened the gridlock.
