Why did India request no press conference during PM Modi & Trump's meet?

Government sources said India took a "cautious approach" and requested no press conference during PM Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump's meeting at the G7 Summit this year. "Delegations, when meeting the US President, are wary of his unpredictable behaviour, as may be seen from his interactions with the President of South Africa, Ukraine, etc.," the sources added.
